The Carpenters Arms is a 300 year old family run country pub offering a friendly welcome to families, locals and visitors alike.

Enjoy our hospitality in the comfortable lounge areas, or our outdoor tables and seating in the beer garden when the weather is nice. There is a real fire log burner situated in the bar for cold winter days, and there is nothing like the welcoming warmth of a real fire to help you enjoy a drink with some hot food.

You can now park your campervan overnight at the Carpenters Arms while you explore the delightful village of Dale Abbey. Walk to Hermits Cave, visit the remains of the 12th century abbey or just amble in the woods - there's plenty to do in this quintessentially English village.

We also have a full service point for motorhomes.
